After several new books from my shelf and research online, I can definitely say and agree that natural furniture and accessories are coming to the 2021 trend. On my pinterest you would see that these natural looking woven, linen, earthy tone materials were always in trend for me. They work perfectly for a balanced and calm interior design. Furniture made from woven light wood popping everywhere now, from lamp shades to headboards, beds, chairs, mirrors and everything else.
It’s called rattan – it is a lightweight vine that has rapid growth time, it’s very flexible and it’s easy to use for furniture making. It’s very strong and durable to use inside and outside, of course you need to make sure it’s treated for outside if that’s what you are looking for.
For a lot of people this style is associated with holiday, hot summer & relax time. So why not make your home the place where you can enjoy and relax as you do on your holiday. Finding a balance and including natural furniture into your home would definitely change your life to a much more peaceful environment. Rattan, wicker, rafia, seagrass and bamboo, cane are on demand, mixing them with other natural/soft materials -linen, velvet, will look great at your home.
Other than the material, I noticed interesting and very elegant round shaped furniture and accessories trends still staying in 2021, and I believe they come inspired by Art Nouveau style and developed into modern elegant new year 2021 trends in interior design. This furniture offers you a very soft feeling with no edge, perfect to mix and match with natural material furniture talked above.
